Manage Your Mind CIC

Manage Your Mind started off as a project running under the auspices of The International Association for Human Values (IAHV). After its continued success and growth, Manage Your Mind, branched away from the charity and has now been set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC), Company Number 10639227. Whilst we operate independently of IAHV, our overall aims and objectives are essentially the same and we continue to maintain a partnership in providing courses that improve the health and well being of the community.

The Challenge

NHS nurses

Amid the unyielding demands of health and social care services and the struggles faced by healthcare professionals on the frontline, Manage Your Mind endeavours to confront the pressing challenge of mental resilience within this workforce.

The relentless nature of their roles, compounded by the unceasing demands of a dynamic healthcare environment, underscores the critical need for intervention.

Our training courses provide a lifeline for NHS health and social care professionals, equipping them with vital life skills. Participants learn to navigate stress and maintain clarity of mind through powerful breathing exercises and practical relationship-building strategies. The overwhelming feedback we receive reflects the urgent requirement for mental well-being support in these fields.

In a world where the demands persist, Manage Your Mind stands as a beacon of empowerment. The need for intervention is undeniable, and our multi-award-winning, clinically-led service ensures tangible benefits for clients and value for commissioners.

Our Aim & Approach

Manage Your Mind's workshop aims to empower NHS health and social care professionals with essential life skills, focusing on mental resilience and stress reduction.

Our unique approach combines powerful breathing exercises, meditation techniques, and practical insights to enhance energy levels, calm minds, and bolster resilience. The Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY) program, a centrepiece of our workshops, draws from yoga principles proven effective in high-stress environments.

Our emphasis on positivity, skill-building for handling negative emotions, and practical relationship enhancement sets us apart. With a group-focused and interactive format, participants gain 12 Continuing Professional Development Points. Post-workshop, we provide online resources to ensure ongoing practice.

Certified Instructors guide the sessions, and our program's success is measured through online questionnaires. As we offer fully funded spaces, our commitment to maximizing accessibility for NHS professionals remains unwavering.
